3.0 The Rationale behind this Topic

From this topic onward we could really know the real reason behind why students cannot give full attention in online class thus affecting their level of understanding and marks for certain courses.

From this also we could help to motivate more students to attend online classes since from the past year online classes had been used as a medium for teachers and students to communicate with each other and this is due to the outbreak of a pandemic. We citizens cannot fully predict if our country will be free from this virus in near future.

This study could also spread the awareness of people especially in families, where all of the students are facing this type of problem. Due to the lack of understanding, the student is bothered with their studies. From the teacher's or lecturer's view, they also can understand the environment students have faced in studying online through the home. This is due to the home atmosphere students are also bound to house-chores where some students have a responsibility to look after their family during this pandemic period.

Lastly, this could lead to students having less stress whether on online class tasks or house chores. In order for students to have more effective marks as well as increase the Malaysian standard marks, three parties need to understand each other from the families, teachers, and lastly the students. Because as a student ourselves there’s something that we also need to consider about our study and responsibility both in class and home.
