AVOID ALL SHAPE OF DISTRACTION

Less usage of smartphone.
What does it mean by avoiding all shapes of distraction? Have you ever realized during studying, most of us have a hard time staying focused throughout the study session? The usual distraction that always comes in way of studying is our smartphone. It is really hard to keep our hands away from holding and using our smartphones. Usually, at first, we only thought of using our smartphone to browse the reference or material to study but always end up leaving all of the pending homework and assignment that we currently working on and continue to play with the smartphone. How to avoid this situation? The first step we need to do is make sure to close all of our social media apps before start studying. This helps a lot in keeping our minds focused on our online classes or study revision. Second, put your smartphone on mute or disable all application notifications so that when you are using your smartphone for browsing purposes, you will not get distracted from all the notification's sounds. That way you can train yourself bit by bit to stay focused and consistent to finish your work first before doing other things.

Change study place
Studying in a noisy place is also a type of distraction that must be avoided at all costs. Not only that students will need to spend more time understanding the subject in progress because of unsuitable surroundings for study space. Studying in a noisy place can reduce our mood and emotion to study. Instead of drowning yourself in a noisy and crowded place, try to find a quiet place such as in your room if you are at home or a book cafe shop. Nowadays many book cafe shops are operating to let people enjoy a calm and quiet surrounding to read a book or study. Book cafe is really popular among students which they can change their mood for relaxing atmosphere while finishing their assignments or revision. After you got yourself a quiet place to study, don't forget to get a comfortable chair for your comfort so that even if you are sitting for hours doing work, you still can take good care of your body posture and increase work efficiency.
Stay away from your bed

Honestly, who will not get tired from studying for hours while facing books and laptops? Having to spend time for hours studying is tiring for our eyes and brain however, studying on your bed or taking a rest during break time on the bed is not an exactly good solution when you are not even finished reading one page of your book and still have lots more task on hand to be done. If you are a person who loves to procrastinate and do everything at the last minute studying in bed or spending your break time in the bed will just lead you to continue procrastinating by sleeping or playing with gadgets. You will end up spending the hours that are supposed to be filled with studies by sleeping or goofing around. Taking a short nap is okay but for a person who loves sleeping, avoiding your bed during a study session is recommended. Instead of heading straight to your bed during break times, try to walk around your house or your study space. Stretch and massage your muscle a little and have a cup of coffee or sweet drinks like hot cocoa to reduce the tiredness. This surely may help you a little with your tiredness. You can also spend your break having a small chat with your family member or give help around the house. You may also have a snacking time to fill your empty stomach after using your brain for hours. Taking a break is important and finding a way to avoid all the things that can lead to distraction is indeed a smart move.
Putting an effort into avoiding all the distractions that can bother you while studying is worth it because you can finish your work at the desirable time and you don't have to make yourself stay up pulling an all-nighter just to finish your homework or revision which can lead you to an unhealthy life cycle. Studying is important and finishing homework and assignment is a responsibility that needs to be done but taking care of our body is also important. Therefore, avoiding all types of distraction helps us to stay consistent in achieving the study goals at the same keep us in a healthy learning cycle.
